Some thoughts I've had about them! (Please don't feel tied to any of it, just putting it here in case it sparks some inspo!)

Harry & Roxy: catch me rocking up to every exchange asking for more of these two because i think that their potential was super duper overlooked in canon. i think that the two of them probably have a lot in common and i think it could make things so interesting. they could either get along really well right off the bat because of it, or because of certain similarities it's hard to get along at first. but they're both to poised and confident i think they'd be so great together on missions. i'd love to see it be a little awkward at first but then they really hit their stride together. maybe on a mission one of them gets injured and is reluctant to let the other take care of them but they've got no real choice. the opportunities are endless!

Merlin & Eggsy: while The Golden Circle gave us so much more of their dynamic and it was lovely, i'm always up for more! i'm always up for a little bit of mission fic, but even if you wanted to do something more lowkey, some slice of life or just them getting into trouble at HQ between missions. the differences in their personalities makes their whole dynamic so entertaining imo. (also let the record show that Merlin is the reason i included the "fix-it" tag. i don't want this man to die lmao)

Harry & Merlin: pre-canon harry and merlin, my beloveds!!!!!! i am totally open to canon and post-canon fics about them as well, but the amount of hours i have clocked thinking about what these two must've been like together over the years. my head is spinning. i would love any take on these two being friends and driving each other nuts haha

Solo Merlin: some Merlin backstory, perhaps???? how did he get involved in Kingsman??? how did he go from (presumably) being out in the field while Eggsy's dad was trialing for the agency to being the man behind the screen during Eggsy's time? what does he do when it's just him at HQ because everyone else is either home or out on a mission?

Tequila & Eggsy: these two are so absurd and ridiculous. i simply can't get enough of them. put them on a mission together when they're still in the phase of not being able to stand each other. maybe they work things out in the stress of it all and a begrudging respect forms. maybe not! maybe they're too stuck on the idea of not liking each other but they have to have each other's backs anyway regardless. i just think it will be fun!

Some thoughts I've had about them! (Please don't feel tied to any of it, just putting it here in case it sparks some inspo!)

Syd & Mikey: every day i wake up and think about an au where these two got to know each other. maybe it happens because Mikey and Carmy's relationship was better, or maybe it doesn't! maybe Mikey uses Syd as a replacement for Carmy because he sees the similarities between them. i just think that both characters have such vast depths to them and seeing them try to learn how to navigate each other could be so interesting whether you decide to include Carmy in their dynamic or not.

Solo Marcus: tell me everything and anything you've ever thought about Marcus Brooks. his family, his backstory, how he and Chester became friends. what's the deal with him and his little brother who is seemingly blipped off the radar???? we get to see a little bit of Marcus flying solo in s2 but if you wanted to expand upon what that is like for him when he's home in Chicago i am all ears!

Solo Luca: this man has complicated sibling relationships just like everyone else in canon and i am HERE for it. Luca gave us the liner notes of his backstory when he was talking to Marcus in their episode but if you wanted to build on any of that, i'd be stoked! or even what he did after Marcus left, or just his perspective of things while Marcus was there. i would love to get to know him a little bit more

Mikey & Fak: Fak was always said to be Carmy's friend but he was clearly around to some extent even when Carmy left Chicago. in Fishes we see that Fak tries his best to run interference when Mikey is about to fly off the handle. i would love to see more of what their dynamic was like throughout the years, before and after Carmy took off for school etc. Fak makes a point to say that he started to step away towards the end with Mikey, and I wonder if there was something specific that triggered that. i don't know! you tell me!

Marcus & Richie: i feel like s1 gave us some really great Richie and Marcus moments and I would love to see more of that. the two of them can banter back and forth so well it makes my heart so happy. most of their interactions are humorous but i also think that Marcus is one of the few people who could probably be real with Richie and Richie would be less likely to get loud and angry with him. I don't know, i just think they're neat!

Carmy & Fak: Fak says they're best friends!!!!!!! Richie makes a comment about how the two of them were so close before. I would just love to see what that dynamic looked like when they were younger. did Fak keep trying to reach out after Carmy left and cut everyone off? Fak has a seemingly good relationship with his siblings versus how Carmy is with his own and i wonder what that looked like when they were younger. i just. i think that these two are such an interesting pair.

Carmy & Marcus: we see such highs and lows for these two in canon and i would love to see even more! Carmy obviously sees something in Marcus and Marcus looks up to Carmy and I just think that there could be so much happening there. i would also love to see the two of them talk about Sibling Things. especially with Carmy being the youngest and having tense relationship with his older siblings, and Marcus being the oldest and having a relationship with his brother that is apparently distant at least??? idk i think it could be an interesting convo.

Carmy & Luca: Luca said all those things about Carmy to Marcus without ever name-dropping but if you wanted to dive into their time together I would be so excited to read it! how much did they keep in touch after the fact? what was the conversation between them when Carmy wanted to send Marcus to Copenhagen? they're just so different in terms of disposition i would love to see more of them

Some thoughts I've had about them! (Please don't feel tied to any of it, just putting it here in case it sparks some inspo!)

Tara & Opie: it's a crime that we didn't get more of these two in the show imo. the love of jax's life and his best friend deserved more screentime together! that's all i'm saying! i would love to see someone else's take on their dynamic either during canon or even pre-canon. their personalities are so different but i think they could play off of each other really well.

Wendy & Tara: i wish that the two of them could've gotten the hell out of Charming together. just taken the kids and ran. the universe had them pitted against each other but i really do wonder how differently it all would've been if they'd banded together from the start. i really adored both of their characters and i just want good things for them.

Juice & Tig: the early seasons of SOA gave us so many good Tig and Juice comedy moments and i feel like we lost out on that towards the middle and end of the series. i would love to just see more of the two of them getting stuck having to do things together and the chaos that follows them around. i think that they were good friends underneath it all and i'd love to see more of it!

Juice & Opie: another duo i wish we got more of. Juice is just so bubbly in comparison to Opie and i think it would be so amusing to see the two of them getting put in situations together. what was it like when they had to work T-M shifts together? or if they were paired up for club business? i feel like Opie would be so annoyed by him most of the time but there would still be a weird brand of affection underneath it all. idkidk i just think they could be neat together.

Juice & Jax: it is HEAVILY implied that Jax is the one who sort of brought Juice into the fold of the club. I would LOVE to know how that all came about and went down. i would love to see early-years Jax and Juice after Juice first ended up in Charming. i think that whatever their backstory is, really could've changed the game of canon in regards to their relationship.

Hale & Jax & Opie: i'm begging on my hands and knees for pre-canon shenanigans with the three of them. whether it's high school them or just early twenties them. but they all grew up together and i feel like it was all so chaotic and messy and funny among the three of them. the bickering and the ups and downs. i don't know i just wish we could've gotten more of the three of them together

Wendy & Nero: i adored their entire dynamic in the show. if you wanted to write some post-canon things with them and the boys, figuring life out together in the wake of everything that happened, i would absolutely love it. i just think their relationship was really one of the best that we got to see over the seasons.

Kozik & Happy: these two almost travel like a pair for a little while and i would love to know what their dynamic was before they both permanently ended up back in Charming again. they have such different personalities but they make it work and I would love to see more of that!

Solo Wendy & Solo Nero: anything pre-canon with either of them would be so interesting to see. Or for Wendy, what was life like for her between when we see her at the hospital about to go to rehab and when she resurfaces later in the series? what was prison like for Nero? idk i just think getting either of their backstories built out a little more could be really great!

Nestor & Erin: I know that canon never put them in the same room together but there's no way that I can be convinced that they never crossed paths. Whether you wanted to do missing scenes or pre-canon type of things, I'd be down for any of it! I just think that their dynamic has the potential to be so funny and interesting because the two of them are so different. Plus they're both at the mercy of Miguel and Emily in a lot of ways and I feel like they could commiserate about that together haha

Miguel & Nestor: I would looooove some pre-canon stories and thoughts about these two. Their dynamic in the show is so unbalanced which makes sense given Miguel's position but I would love to see how they got there. Or even if you wanted to change canon and switch up how their relationship plays out I would be down for that too! I just think they're so interesting

Gilly & Coco: Gilly really had Coco's back when no one else did even when he didn't know how to handle it or show it and I would really just love to see more of their friendship. Anything from slice of life and typical club antics to heartbreaking angst. I'm down for it all!

EZ & Erin: another duo we didn't get to see in canon but you and i both know they must've known each other decently well back when Emily and EZ were together. Erin certainly has her opinions on him and I would just love to see what it would've been like back then when they were younger. Or do we think they ran into each other when she came back to Santo Padre later in the series? And what would that have been like? I just think it could be so interesting.

Miguel & Erin: the humor-covered tension between these two means everything to me hoenstly. I love the way that Erin nettles him and the way that Miguel, to a point, sort of just has to take it. If you wanted to keep the bantery vibes or if you wanted to go full-blown antagonistic, I would be happy with either! I just think that their dynamic in front of Emily is definitely different than when she isn't around.

For all the solo characters: go gangbusters! Honestly would love to see any type of story focusing on any of them. If you wanted to do something pre-canon that would be great, but even if you wanted to go AU or just missing scenes and stuff from the canon timeline I would definitely enjoy that too! I think that all three of them are characters that we got a little bit of in the show but not nearly enough so however you want to build them out would be great!

Some thoughts I've had about them! (Please don't feel tied to any of it, just putting it here in case it sparks some inspo!)

Harry & John: I just want them being the most polite spies ever together. So soft-spoken but also so lethal. I like the idea that they'd worked together in the past or that there is just some sort of familiarity there, but even if you wanted to have them just running across each other on a mission at some point I would enjoy that too!

Tangerine & Eggsy: I know that these two would drive each other bonkers at first but I think that eventually they could get along really well together. I would love to see them on a mission together, or maybe they were both dispatched to the same situation by their respective bosses and they had no idea the other was going to be there. Maybe they had to protect each other, maybe they have to fight each other. Either way I think the dialogue and the action would be great haha

Richie & Jesse: I just think they'd be a hoot together under any circumstances. Is Jesse one of the people who Richie was dealing coke with in the back alley of The Beef? Does he come back even after Richie promises Carmy that he's not dealing anymore? Is Jesse someone who got hired at the restaurant before it went through it's overhaul (or even after!)? Jesse is running around calling everyone "bitch" and Richie is running around calling everyone "jagoff" and everyone is losing their minds! Is Jesse someone Richie can call "cousin" and it's actually true by blood? There are just so many opportunities!

JJ & Danny: It's the outcast thing. I know that Isla Morada and OBX aren't close together. But imagine that they crossed paths anyway. Maybe Danny knows Luke somehow. Maybe they worked together or were friends at some point. Maybe Danny is able ot be there for JJ in a way that Luke never was able to. They both have a habit of making bad decisions but I think they'd get on well...even if it takes some doing for them to come around to each other.

Rick & Steve: My favorite headcanon for these two is that they're cousins. I think they're both just so stubborn and occasionally aggressive and broody and southern. It works!!! It works. They both work for government agencies that let shady things slide for the sake of the "Greater Good" but they're both still so proud and adamant about doing the right thing even when they're clearly not doing the right thing. I just love them a lot. Anything with them talking or arguing will be a feast for me.

Solo: Stephen Black (JSMN), Format: Fanart, Format: Fanfiction, Character Goes For Long Walk In Pretty Nature; Has A Great Time But It's Spooky, political maneuvering, Amnesia - Amnesiac Character Makes Wildly Incorrect Assumptions About Their Own Life, Aftermath of Canon Trauma, Adjusting to a new society or world

Stephen is left in a fascinating position at the end of the book and I'd love exploring more of that. Maybe connections that he forms with fairies in his hall - who seem to be less horrifying now that the gentleman's gone? - or connections he might form now and then in the human world if he visits, or with magicians. (Maybe playing with the idea of time passing differently in Faerie - Stephen in old-fashioned clothes, the other person dressed for a different era.)

He also came across as extremely weary at the end and had already gone through a few really hard years. Plus he lost his chance at his birth name and a little knowledge of his mother and heritage. How does he work through any of that? I'd also like to see a more settled Stephen, a few years (centuries?) later, handling life in Faerie. Preferably well! But I've requested a tag or two that could mean adventures for him, or at least a few difficulties.

Re: art: I haven't seen the miniseries, but I don't mind if a depiction of Stephen draws from it.

The receptionist/pet/beloved daughter : doting father/pet owner/employer relationship is an incredible mix. It cracks me up. Anything about the early days of how that dynamic got settled would be amazing, but also especially regarding how it settles much more on the 'dad' side of things for Blitzo (and Loona gets some of those familiar feelings too). And since they both have so many issues, I'd also enjoy anything set in or closer to the main canon timeline where they're still working through things, but are getting a little better at communicating that they care for each other and in what ways they care for each other.

It could also be interesting to see how outside points of view affect their relationship. Hell hounds seem to be mostly enforcers or guards, so Loona having a desk job might be something that people get weird about. And how usual is it for the relationship between a hell hound and owner (...contractor?) to get familial?

Based on the manga, I friend-ship these two with wild abandon because I-Pin made the decision to speak her first words of Japanese to Chrome, after like a year of speaking Chinese to all her new friends/family when only Reborn could understand it. The world's most dangerously shy six-year-old saw someone equally shy who very much needed company, and made herself outright ridiculous to find a way to reach out to her. I died it was so cute. There was also a post-canon comic strip Amano Akira drew where Chrome is helping I-Pin swim in the first panel, so I like to think the friendship continues. I'd be cool with them as TYL or even 20YL characters too.

I love the creepiness of Kul Elna, and am fascinated by any depictions of how it could have gone for Bakura, a little kid when everyone died, as he lived in the village with all its ghosts for the next couple decades. Feel free to place this relationship anywhere on the scale from sweet to horrifying. Also feel free to have the ghosts look more human, or like the sort of melted specters of canon (or worse. Bring on the body horror!).

I have a headcanon that Dark Necrofear and her baby are based on Kul Elna inhabitants. It could be nice seeing that, though of course not at all a requirement.

I enjoy these three in two ways - 1) having adventures pre-canon, whether criminal or otherwise, where they help each other out of ludicrous scrapes and start liking each other probably more than they (want to) realise, and 2) more emotional and introspective within canon timeline regarding how messy the relationships got. Kraglin feeling like Peter got too much slack and Yondu didn't have the same affection and trust for him, Peter not feeling able to trust Yondu in return because he's got a lot of issues with the guy, Yondu emotionally stunted and regretful but with a new perspective after his life has burned down around him.

Also it's GOTG so I always like it with a streak of comedy, even in the angsty takes.

Note on the Worldbuilding - politics tag: I'm thinking especially of the Xandar-Kree war of 1000 years, I think they said in GOTG 2014. Which Yondu might have been forced to participate in, as a battle slave? It seems like a giant feature of the setting to navigate even for outlaws. But also feel free to look at other elements, especially Ravager clan politics, or something not mentioned in canon. It's a big galaxy out there so I'm down for filling it up differently in fic.

I got attached to Floor when she started yelling that the rest of them had to leave immediately, after Lylla had been killed. It was a mix of instinctive terror, entirely correct assessment, and compassionate/protective with the way she named the other two before herself. It made me wonder how she'd get by if she lived, whether on her own or with the others. When would strong animalistic responses be useful, when wouldn't they, would she be able to learn to temper them? It also feels like it would be tougher for her to adjust to the outside world on her own than it was for Rocket, so if this is an AU where they don't escape together, I'd be very interested in seeing how she manages to put together resources, and again, when animal instinct would be useful and when she'd have to work around it.

And then there's the "adopting pets" tag lol. I think she'd be very kind and protective even as she recognises that these animals are different from her, though not always that different. It could be an interesting way to explore her mindset about what the High Evolutionary made of her and her friends.

I'd love anything where they bond, whether working through abuse within their household (whether this means Neil Hargrove abusing Billy, or Billy abusing Max - though I headcanon he stopped after season 2 and that helped things ease between them), or whether they're fighting Upside Down creatures.

I'd also be into Billy suddenly coming back during season 4 and dealing with just how messed up Max got regarding him. He could have been alive but kept in a government lab, in the Upside Down, or suddenly be back from the dead, I don't mind.

Nick Varna is the best. Calculating, and patient, and the smartest man in town. And he knows that Ed Beaumont is the second-smartest man around; the idea of the two of them together pleases me as much as it does Varna. I would love anything that tells me more about Varna, or an AU/futurefic in which he and Ed are learning to work together (and be friends, question mark) and to appreciate one another without being TOO vulnerable. Cos, you know, vulnerability is ~dangerous~. (Also tho, if you give me Varna emotionally manipulating Ed I will love you until the end of time. This is a brand new need the tags have given me. GOD.)

My headcanon is that Paul Madvig is a big homosexual, clearly in love with Ed Beaumont. The ridiculous end of the movie, in which he steps aside and lets Ed have the girl makes sense ONLY in the context, and thinking about him and Janet being galpals fucking DELIGHTS me. Paul deserves to be understood and appreciated, and I could not be more delighted by the thought of Janet figuring out what is going on (And, also, recognizing that he sometimes needs a minder to keep him from shooting himself in the proverbial foot.), and embracing Paul as bro and her ally in all the things. Paul is soft and sweet and adorable where Janet is hard and badass, and the two of them would have amazing adventures and nights out together. Please and thank you.

I love Obregón for many reasons, primary among them the fact that he's played by Joseph Calleia, but he is also a delightfully warm, wry character in a movie full of nasty, fucked up people. Like, Obregón has his job to do, and he's damn good at it, but also has a huge heart, and spends an adorable amount of his time shipping Johnny and Gilda, which is maybe the cutest thing in the world? He wants them together almost more than Johnny does, and DEFINITELY more than Gilda does. The fact that the way he uses his power is to nudge together two people too dumb to realize they really should just shut the fuck up and admit their feelings is amazing, and places Obregón in his own universe within the movie. (WRT "Character meets evil alternate version of themself", I fully believe that Obregón would win his evil self over and they'd become BFFs. WE LOVE TO SEE IT.)

Every time I watch this movie (which I do, um, kind of a lot), I adore him more: for how much of a goober he is about Miranda, for how much Harper loves him, for how much he wishes he wasn't the reliable, solid man that he is. Even without her witch powers, Jennifer Wooley would be a force to reckon with and, ever since I saw the movie for the first time, I've wanted an AU in which she and Estelle take over the fucking world together. Or, barring that, become besties, or at least go out for drinks from time to time. Estelle seems like Jennifer's opposite, but I think their main difference (apart from, you know, the witch thing) is just that she has tried to shape herself to society's expectations of a woman, whereas Jennifer has not. Estelle is as badass and fierce as Jennifer is, she just needs someone (Jennifer) to free her from the feeling that conformity is necessary! (It's fine with me if you want Wally around, but I'm also completely cool if he and Jennifer, for whatever reason, didn't get hitched and he's out of the picture.)

For the JJK/Naruto request, what I like about the Kakashi & Satoru tag is the idea of both of them being teachers whose students kind of hate them as teachers (depending on where you are in canon for each). So, consider for a moment the idea of Hatake Kakashi getting teaching advice from Gojo Satoru before getting Team Seven and actually listening and putting it into practice. Or Kakashi reincarnating and becoming one of Satoru's students. I don't know how you'd pull it off, but the idea of them swapping students for a week also sounds hilarious.

Again, it's very hard to write anything for DoS I won't like. If you want some specific crossover ideas:
- There have been a few stories that show Shikako saving Regulus. It'd be great to see what happens next.
- Shikako insists that sharing a bowl of ramen is the proper post kidnapping rescue bonding activity. Sadly Dawn has been kidnapped and subsequently rescued by Shikako enough times to know this for a fact. (And her sister and her friends are trying to find out if there's a noodle obsessed demon species.)
- I just want canon!Sakura to meet Shikako and initially commiserate on how crazy Naruto and Sasuke are, but having the slowly growing realization that Shikako is just as bad as the boys (and maybe a minor meltdown when Shikako points out Sakura fits in too).
- That said, I have a special place in my heart for canon Sakura becoming DoS Team Seven's sensei or Shikako becoming canon Team Seven's sensei.

This crossover came to me during Crossworks and I thought it was a lot of fun, so I've brought it back here! Basically the idea is that Hogan's Heroes and Macgyver both take place on the same earth/timeline, so they can be crossed over post canon for Hogan's Heroes and pre or during canon for Macgyver (Hogan would be 80 in 1985 so I feel like it's very possible to set a fic during the early seasons of Macgyver.)

I just feel like the "we're gonna pull something wild out of our ass and do what needs to be done" energy is similar for the two shows, even if the tone is different. You could do something really interesting with it! Maybe a young Macgyver learns some things about improvised explosives from a chemistry teacher named Andrew Carter?

I requested the three American main characters and would be happy for Macgyver to interact with whichever (or multiple) you're inspired to write. I didn't request Baker just because I'm not as familiar with his era, but I'm not against him showing up as long as one of my requested relationships is also featured! (Same goes for the other heroes.)

I'd really enjoy like a classic "introduce problem, come up with something to fix it" kind of set up for this crossover, but tbh I'd also love something that just has them interacting casually so don't feel like you have to plot too much. I'd prefer the whole thing not be angst for this request specifically, but some angst is fine! Or a bittersweet tone, like reminiscing about good times at a funeral as a set up. (Which means, yes, I do give you permission to kill off a Hogan's Heroes character if you want to.)
