The signup form is now live! Request (and offer) away. As a reminder, you may request and offer from 1-10 fandoms with 1-20 relationships and 2-40 freeforms (20 in Additional Tags and 20 in Optional Tags). For Optional Tags, these must also be from our tagset, and please copy directly from the tagset as the AO3 form will not suggest/autocomplete tags as it does in the Additional Tags field. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us either in the comments here or via email.

Late nominations

This exchange doesn't allow the use of the "any" ticky box during sign ups, so we can keep adding to the tagset if you realize you forgot something! I have to add tags manually, so please only ask for tags you're going to use on your requests and please format them for me in the manner described below. You can comment here or send an email to genmod@gmx.com to get those in! Feel free to continue to comment with rejected-for-formatting noms as well.

Could you reformat as a disambiguated list (fandoms after the ship name in parentheses, or for crossovers, each fandom after the character name in parentheses), one line per fandom, as detailed in the post? Once you do that, I'll get them added for you!

Could you reformat the freeforms as a list separated by commas, and the relationship tags as a comma-separated list with the fandom name (exactly as it appears in the tagset) listed first?

In addition, your last freeform tag is 142 characters, and it will have to be cut down to 100 characters at most due to AO3 size limitations, so please rephrase.

Your last crossover ship is over 100 characters, even once I shorten the disambiguations and remove piped names - you'll have to either shorten some names or remove some entirely for it to fit AO3's size limits, sorry!

Not the requester but I made 2 attempts at rewording their long tag. The first one is exactly 100 characters and I edited the original tag as little as possible, second is 96 characters but reworded more

I wasn't able to add it because it's too long - 159 characters. Even removing piped names and shortening Jujutsu Kaisen to JJK wasn't enough to get it to 100 characters or less (which is the limit set by AO3). I'm happy to put a shorter version in the tagset if you have one, but you'll likely have to remove one or two of the people in the relationship entirely.

That's still 134 characters. (You should be able to check the character count of a tag by pasting it into your word processing program of choice and highlighting the tag)

Do you have any suggestions for splitting this? I mean I know the MDZS characters have “long names” because it includes 2. Idk if it split into two like I did below and that would help (I’ll explain in the prompt what I want)?

I'd suggest shortening (Jujutsu Kaisen) to (JJK) and choosing only one name for the MDZS characters (e.g. just "Lan Yuan" or "Lan Sizhui") - as long as it's clear what character you're referring to, you don't need to use their official tag on AO3. You're welcome to split into two tags and request both, but your creator will only be matching on one of those two tags so it's up to them if they'd like to include all characters in the work - so I'd suggest picking the characters that are most important to you and mentioning the others in your prompts as optional.
