Signups are closed! We've sent emails to three participants who don't have anyone to create for and asked them if they'd like to add to their offers. If you're signed up, please check your email! You've got 48 hours to respond. Once we hear from those three participants or 48 hours have passed, whichever happens first, we'll send out assignments.

Requests

Here are some general reminders about requests:

• You must request a minimum of 3 unique fandoms from the tagset. "Crossover Fandom" counts as a fandom.
• You can make multiple requests for the same fandom.
• Each request must have at minimum:
  • 1 medium
  • 1 relationship/character/group
  • 2 freeform tags.
• You can offer up to 40 freeforms per fandom; 20 of them will go in "optional tags", and you will need to copy/paste them directly from the tagset as they will not autofill in the dropdown.
• Remember your creator may combine any of your freeforms in a request with any of the characters or relationships in that request, so make sure you would like to receive all the possible combinations in each request.
• DNWs (Do Not Wants) can only be enforced if they go in your AO3 sign up. Your DNWs should go on every request they apply to. Please check to make sure your DNWs do not contradict your sign up.
• If you request a tag that indicates a group or type of character (for example, Group: Any Canon Character, Canon Character X & Any Member of [Group], Solo: Any Member of [Group]), your DNWs cannot restrict your potential creators from using any member of that group.
  • For example, if you request Any Member of Angel Investigations & Lilah Morgan (Buffyverse), you cannot DNW the appearance or inclusion of any Angel Investigations member.

Offers

Here are some general reminders about offers:

• You must offer a minimum of 4 unique fandoms from the tagset. "Crossover Fandom" counts as a fandom.
• Each offer must have a minimum of one fandom, one medium, one relationship/character/group, and two freeforms.
• For offers, you can choose to offer "Any" freeform. If you do, you could match with any freeform in the tagset. Please carefully read every freeform and consider if you could write 1.5k words about it, or complete a finished piece of fanart, or make a vid, or a podfic. If you fail to account for the existence of one of the freeforms and get matched to a request you don't want to create for, you will have to default.
• If you are unmatchable (if you don't offer anything that matches to someone's requests) we will email you...but this holds up assignments going out, so please try to be matchable.
• When you get matched to someone you will match on one fandom, one medium, one relationship/character/group, and one freeform. You will still see all of your recip's requests! But you only need to write one of them.

PLEASE NOTE: The tag(s) you enter must be from the tagset and they must match exactly. If the tag you want won't autocomplete, that's a known bug! Copy the tag directly from the tagset and it will be accepted.

General note: Please remember to disambiguate your noms, especially if you're nominating for a fandom where tags might wander to other related parts of the fandom (such as the MCU or Star Wars). It makes our job a lot easier! Also please capitalize your nominations correctly, we'll wear our fingers out fixing that.

More questions! Also an update: based on feedback we're switching all Dragon Age tags from Dragon Age (Video Games) to Dragon Age - All Media Types. Please nominate under AMT going forward; we will switch the current tags over soon.

Fandoms/Relationships

Les Misérables - All Media Types

• We have let a few other versions of AMT tags into the tagset, but we find ourselves unsure about this one because we don't know much about the fandom. It's not a multimedia franchise, just something with a lot of adaptations, right? We think we'd prefer that you pick your favorite version of this canon instead, but we're open to hearing why you think the AMT tag is right for you.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) - All Media Types

• Domino Squad (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) — Please pick either "Solo: Domino Squad (Star Wars: The Clone Wars)" or "Group: Domino Squad (Star Wars: The Clone Wars)". If you don't, we'll add "Solo:" to it before approving either A) when leaving it in limbo starts getting in the way of approving other tags or B) at the end of nominations.

DC (Comics)

• What comics universe do you want your relationships/characters to be from? Please disambiguate so that we can accept your tags.

Marvel (Comics)

• We are not accepting this fandom. You still need to nominate under the comic universe you want your characters to come from, for example Marvel 616.

Buffyverse (TV)

• Angel Investigations & Lilah Morgan — We'd rather approve this as "Any Member of Angel Investigations & Lilah Morgan" for clarity. You could also nominate as many specific Angel Investigation characters as will fit in the 100-character limit, if you want.

Freeforms

• Bisexuality — Would "Bisexual Character" or "Bisexual Character(s)" work for you, nominator? We want to make sure it's clear from the freeform how exactly one would fulfill this requirement with a gen fic.
• Creating Alternate Fantasy World — Who's creating the alternate fantasy world? Do you mean you want a fantasy AU?
• Fake/Pretend Relationship — We've approved this as "Fake/Pretend Relationship Stays Platonic" for clarity.
• Medium: Art — Matching on medium will be done in character tags, so you don't need to put it in freeforms. We will not accept this tag.
• Survival underage sex work — We're not sure what you mean, nominator!
• Take Your Fandom to Work Day — This is a canonical AO3 tag but we're not sure what it means in the context of an exchange request. Do you mean you want your creator to make a fanwork that includes the creator's IRL job?
• Writing Fanfic About Yourself — This is a canonical AO3 tag but we're not sure what it means in the context of an exchange request. Do you mean that you want your creator to write a self insert?

A couple questions from our first day of nominations!

Fandoms/Relationships

DCU

• A quick google this morning told us that this is equivalent to or a subset of "DC Comics" — in which case, please move these nominations to the "DC Comics" fandom and disambiguate your characters/relationships for the comics universe you want. If we're mistaken, please let us know!

X-Men (Comicverse)

• We're nominating Marvel comics by universe, so this should be nominated as Marvel 616 unless you mean a different Marvel comics universe. Alternatively, you can nominate characters under an individual X-Men title.

Crossover Fandom

• Anne Bonny (Black Sails) & A Female Rescuer — We love the spirit of this tag but would like to adjust it a little. Nominator, how would you feel about Anne Bonny (Black Sails) & Any Female Rescuer (Any Fandom)?

Drunks and Dragons (Podcast)

• Creator's Choice of Character(s) (GAPcast) — Please put either "Solo:" or "Group:" in front of this. If you don't, we'll add "Solo:" to it before approving either A) when leaving it in limbo starts getting in the way of approving other tags or B) at the end of nominations.

Fake AH Crew (Rooster Teeth/Achievement Hunter)

Freeforms

• Universe Travel where social status is reversed — Nominator, could we clarify and rephrase? We think your tag is talking about dimension travel to a roleswap AU, but we're not sure.
