My fascination with this dynamic lies solely on the fact that Sam once called Illyana "Illy." That, and their shared scene vs the smiling men. I like the idea that Sam feels comfortable enough to call Illyana "Illy;" I think it shows that they may know each other longer than the others know them. I also like how they mirror each other, Sam being so scared of what he can do that he obsesses with self-control measures while Illyana is the one Dr. Reyes struggles the most with, the one who "needs" to be controlled. I would love to read a fic about how they first met, or how they slowly became friends; I want to see Illyana let her guard down around him and learn to trust him. I would like to see them being there for each other no matter what.

Severance is so good! It's the most fun I've had with TV in a while, the most I've cared about characters getting out alive. Helly R was the most interesting character to me, not just for her clothes but for how innate her sense of rebellion was. I like the idea of how certain natures of an innie are subconscious or repressed natures they have as an outie. I would like to see how that plays between innie-Helly and outie-Helly. I also like how smart i-Helly was when trying to send a message to her outie. And, of course, I loved when outie-Helly finally "wrote" back. That entire scene chilled me to the bone.

Beth is fifteen when she plays her first tournament in 1963. By the time she wins in Moscow in 1968, she's twenty. Sally is supposed to be around fifteen in 1969. *Checks math* Uh-huh, yeah, I think this is right.
I loved watching Sally Draper in Mad Men; her "I'm so many people" line to Don at the diner in S7E2 wrecked me the first time I heard it. In fact, that entire exchange between her and Don in that diner is my all-time favorite scene in all of Mad Men.
I also loved watching Beth in The Queen's Gambit. She was a very guarded, withdrawn character who slowly over the course of the series finds that she has made a family out of the people she met along the way.
I like the idea of the two characters crossing paths, maybe even developing a friendship. Beth seems to have gone through everything Sally is still about to go through—I would like to see her looking out for Sally. Bonus points for other Mad Men cameos!

What I love: Boba Fett is terrible at being a ruthless crime lord, but he might just be the unconventional civic leader that Mos Espa needs.

* Being a feared bounty hunter never prepared Boba Fett for hosting his first town hall meeting. Everyone has their problems, and they expect him to solve them.
* Being in charge of a city includes mundane but essential things, like sewer system maintenance, building development approvals, and the annual garden festival. I would love to see Boba gathering a team to figure it out, or dealing with a situation in his own unique way.
* I love the process of building up a community and its resources, step by step. Does Boba have ambitions for a new infrastructure project, like a water purification system or a baby bantha sanctuary? (Budget crisis! How does Boba pay for these improvements without trading in spice or hiking up taxes?)

Extremely into all of these! It'd be TL;DR if I started writing down all my thoughts, so I'll mention the ones without true canonical interactions first:
- Harribel & Nel: the ex-3rd and the current 3rd! Any point in canon and any kind of relationship - was Harribel already an arrancar while Nel was the third? Was she just lower in the ranks? They embody two sides of the same coin - sacrifice and protection (or sacrifice and lamentation), I think it's interesting! Post-canon, do they work together? (I don't really consider the light novels canon)
- Riruka & Grimmjow (& Ichigo): G&I willingly remove themselves from a sense of community even though it is available and instead choose to consider those people 'under' them (even if, under the superiority complex, it's done benevolently, in an 'under protection' way), whereas Riruka is *searching* for a sense of community. I found the contrast interesting!
The rest are just fascinating to me always! As people trying their best and caring for each other even though most of them do it quite badly. (Also, extend the meaning of 'family' in the tags as much as you'd like)

They are so so so interesting to me! Every single aspect of them, their obsession, their special kind of love, their messiness! I love how Beth behaves the way you'd expect the best person in the team to behave, but how Addy is just as much of that "stereotype" and revered by the school population even when she doesn't realise it. Addy keeps wanting to pretend and she's so :') I just love them.
Also, I adore both book canon and show canon! I'm requesting the book because it provides more for the strictly platonic side of their relationship given Addy's narration, but I have watched the TV show, so either being the base is fine by me!

Ah, Mikasa's love was just so so so strong! It gets me always, how it held on to the very end, even as she was doing what had to be done. My fascination with this dynamic lies solely on the fact that Sam once called Illyana "Illy." That, and their shared scene vs the smiling men. I like the idea that Sam feels comfortable enough to call Illyana "Illy;" I think it shows that they may know each other longer than the others know them. I also like how they mirror each other, Sam being so scared of what he can do that he obsesses with self-control measures while Illyana is the one Dr. Reyes struggles the most with, the one who "needs" to be controlled. I would love to read a fic about how they first met, or how they slowly became friends; I want to see Illyana let her guard down around him and learn to trust him. I would like to see them being there for each other no matter what.

Severance is so good! It's the most fun I've had with TV in a while, the most I've cared about characters getting out alive. Helly R was the most interesting character to me, not just for her clothes but for how innate her sense of rebellion was. I like the idea of how certain natures of an innie are subconscious or repressed natures they have as an outie. I would like to see how that plays between innie-Helly and outie-Helly. I also like how smart i-Helly was when trying to send a message to her outie. And, of course, I loved when outie-Helly finally "wrote" back. That entire scene chilled me to the bone.

Beth is fifteen when she plays her first tournament in 1963. By the time she wins in Moscow in 1968, she's twenty. Sally is supposed to be around fifteen in 1969. *Checks math* Uh-huh, yeah, I think this is right.
I loved watching Sally Draper in Mad Men; her "I'm so many people" line to Don at the diner in S7E2 wrecked me the first time I heard it. In fact, that entire exchange between her and Don in that diner is my all-time favorite scene in all of Mad Men.
I also loved watching Beth in The Queen's Gambit. She was a very guarded, withdrawn character who slowly over the course of the series finds that she has made a family out of the people she met along the way.
I like the idea of the two characters crossing paths, maybe even developing a friendship. Beth seems to have gone through everything Sally is still about to go through—I would like to see her looking out for Sally. Bonus points for other Mad Men cameos!

What I love: Boba Fett is terrible at being a ruthless crime lord, but he might just be the unconventional civic leader that Mos Espa needs.

* Being a feared bounty hunter never prepared Boba Fett for hosting his first town hall meeting. Everyone has their problems, and they expect him to solve them.
* Being in charge of a city includes mundane but essential things, like sewer system maintenance, building development approvals, and the annual garden festival. I would love to see Boba gathering a team to figure it out, or dealing with a situation in his own unique way.
* I love the process of building up a community and its resources, step by step. Does Boba have ambitions for a new infrastructure project, like a water purification system or a baby bantha sanctuary? (Budget crisis! How does Boba pay for these improvements without trading in spice or hiking up taxes?)
* I'd love outsider POV of Boba's attempts at running the city. A frustrated citizen trying to get a pothole repaired? A fruit seller in the marketplace trying to trade amid speeder chases and rancor rampages? I'm all for seeing behind the scenes of the daily lives of the inhabitants.
* I'm a big fan of "everybody lives" and "no body, no death", so feel free to bring back any characters with ambiguous endings (eg the Tuskens, the Gamorreans, Garsa Fwip, etc) or unexplained miracles (eg somehow Cad Bane returned).

All of these characters are fascinating both on their own and when interacting - I am so not picky, I'll eat up anything. Incredibly flawed people making hard choices and having to live with them! The intense "my sibling, my responsibility" dynamic between Bellamy & Octavia, Abby & Clarke's better but still questionable relationship, Indra's mentorship and leadership, Emori finding things she can actually be good at with Raven... I could honestly go on for ages for every single character selected here! You can't go wrong.
Since there are fewer canonical interactions: for Clarke & Kane, I'm interested in the different styles of leadership! Working with each other or against each other, one having the backing of the sky people and one not, or even some communication during season 1, before they all go to the ground?

Extremely into all of these! It'd be TL;DR if I started writing down all my thoughts, so I'll mention the ones without true canonical interactions first:
- Harribel & Nel: the ex-3rd and the current 3rd! Any point in canon and any kind of relationship - was Harribel already an arrancar while Nel was the third? Was she just lower in the ranks? They embody two sides of the same coin - sacrifice and protection (or sacrifice and lamentation), I think it's interesting! Post-canon, do they work together? (I don't really consider the light novels canon)
- Riruka & Grimmjow (& Ichigo): G&I willingly remove themselves from a sense of community even though it is available and instead choose to consider those people 'under' them (even if, under the superiority complex, it's done benevolently, in an 'under protection' way), whereas Riruka is *searching* for a sense of community. I found the contrast interesting!
The rest are just fascinating to me always! As people trying their best and caring for each other even though most of them do it quite badly. (Also, extend the meaning of 'family' in the tags as much as you'd like)

They are so so so interesting to me! Every single aspect of them, their obsession, their special kind of love, their messiness! I love how Beth behaves the way you'd expect the best person in the team to behave, but how Addy is just as much of that "stereotype" and revered by the school population even when she doesn't realise it. Addy keeps wanting to pretend and she's so :') I just love them.
Also, I adore both book canon and show canon! I'm requesting the book because it provides more for the strictly platonic side of their relationship given Addy's narration, but I have watched the TV show, so either being the base is fine by me!

Ah, Mikasa's love was just so so so strong! It gets me always, how it held on to the very end, even as she was doing what had to be done. I like all parts of canon, from their first meeting to post-basement reveal, but I'm also very interested in the events going differently or a straight-up other universe! Is Mikasa always the best, no matter what?
For Ymir, I honestly just want anything at all! Her rude awakening, her lies to herself, her attitude! I'd also love to see the parts that canon didn't cover, especially if we're ignoring her offscreen death. There's nothing I'd dislike!

I'm not sure what I can say about the canon, it has a cast of such vibrant characters! I love all of them and their relationships and how those change over time.
