The moment in the movie when Gooper and Brick actually look at one another, and smile, and relax, seriously almost makes me cry. I love Gooper to distraction, and the idea of these two little boys finding ways to love and support one another in a family that has completely discarded one of them moves me to stupid degrees. I love love LOVE the idea of Brick learning to care about people through seeing how much Gooper suffers and comforting him, but Gooper is also perpetually and always A Good Boy, so I also love him being there for Brick when they were kids. Anything. Anything!

FANDOM-SPECIFIC DETAILS
Nick Varna is the best. Calculating, and patient, and the smartest man in town. And he knows that Ed Beaumont is the second-smartest man around; the idea of the two of them together pleases me as much as it does Varna. I would love anything that tells me more about Varna, or an AU/futurefic in which he and Ed are learning to work together (and be friends, question mark) and to appreciate one another without being TOO vulnerable. Cos, you know, vulnerability is ~dangerous~. (Also tho, if you give me Varna emotionally manipulating Ed I will love you until the end of time. This is a brand new need the tags have given me. GOD.)

My headcanon is that Paul Madvig is a big homosexual, clearly in love with Ed Beaumont. The ridiculous end of the movie, in which he steps aside and lets Ed have the girl makes sense ONLY in the context, and thinking about him and Janet being galpals fucking DELIGHTS me. Paul deserves to be understood and appreciated, and I could not be more delighted by the thought of Janet figuring out what is going on (And, also, recognizing that he sometimes needs a minder to keep him from shooting himself in the proverbial foot.), and embracing Paul as bro and her ally in all the things. Paul is soft and sweet and adorable where Janet is hard and badass, and the two of them would have amazing adventures and nights out together. Please and thank you.

FANDOM-SPECIFIC DETAILS
I love Obregón for many reasons, primary among them the fact that he's played by Joseph Calleia, but he is also a delightfully warm, wry character in a movie full of nasty, fucked up people. Like, Obregón has his job to do, and he's damn good at it, but also has a huge heart, and spends an adorable amount of his time shipping Johnny and Gilda, which is maybe the cutest thing in the world? He wants them together almost more than Johnny does, and DEFINITELY more than Gilda does. The fact that the way he uses his power is to nudge together two people too dumb to realize they really should just shut the fuck up and admit their feelings is amazing, and places Obregón in his own universe within the movie. (WRT "Character meets evil alternate version of themself", I fully believe that Obregón would win his evil self over and they'd become BFFs. WE LOVE TO SEE IT.)

ANYWAY. All of my prompts are opportunities for him to be great, whether it is alone or with one of the two dumbasses he uses his smarts and emotional intelligence to help. Go to town!

Every time I watch this movie (which I do, um, kind of a lot), I adore him more: for how much of a goober he is about Miranda, for how much Harper loves him, for how much he wishes he wasn't the reliable, solid man that he is. Even without her witch powers, Jennifer Wooley would be a force to reckon with and, ever since I saw the movie for the first time, I've wanted an AU in which she and Estelle take over the fucking world together. Or, barring that, become besties, or at least go out for drinks from time to time. Estelle seems like Jennifer's opposite, but I think their main difference (apart from, you know, the witch thing) is just that she has tried to shape herself to society's expectations of a woman, whereas Jennifer has not. Estelle is as badass and fierce as Jennifer is, she just needs someone (Jennifer) to free her from the feeling that conformity is necessary! (It's fine with me if you want Wally around, but I'm also completely cool if he and Jennifer, for whatever reason, didn't get hitched and he's out of the picture.)

My tags lean kinda toward dark-ish territory just b/c I want to see the two of them unleashed, but would also love them just hanging out, having fun and understanding one another. Whatever floats your tag boat is great with me!

I feel like there's a lot of room for new adventures with this setting and these characters, and also a lot of room for potential personal growth. Letters between Peter and Jill or among the siblings after the Narnia adventures would also be really interesting, especially if you can offer a little grace and understanding to everyone involved with the Problem of Susan. I'd much rather it be complicated on every side than have one person be squarely in the wrong.

Shadwell & Tracy: This is where the found family stuff comes in. I would love a post-canon work showing how the two of them are just emotionally attached and more or less looking after each other, or at least being more willing to openly do so than they were before The Week. Silly stuff, soft stuff, I am happy with it all. The human aspects of the book were my favorite part, so feel free to lean into that!

Aragorn & Faramir: I deeply adore both of these characters and would love to see the relationship between them develop. I love trust and loyalty, and while I'm sure the two of them have both of those from the end of the series, I think it would be really neat to see it deepen as they both settle into their new roles.

Gimli & Legolas: I'd be down for either an in-canon piece or post-canon! It would be a lot of fun to see their friendship develop and the two of them gain a mutual understanding, or to see them learning more about one another's cultures either while talking on their quest or during their travels around Middle-earth afterward.

- Learning to trust the team, especially when injured or vulnerable; realizing that she can't quite hide it when she's doing badly, and that they'll come rescue her if she's in trouble
- And the other way around: the team learning to trust her <3
- Vala generally being extremely competent is my favorite thing: using her skills/knowledge/contacts to get an injured teammate out of a terrible situation (eg captivity at the hands of the Lucian Alliance, Goa'uld ship, etc...); maybe pretending to be double-crossing her teammate(s) all for her to then turn on her new ally and get them out of here?

Ideas/Prompts: Elementary is one of my favorite shows when it comes to character and character dynamics, especially for non-romantic vibes. Some totally optional ideas/prompts:
- Sherlock and Joan: I've always read them as platonic soulmates so honestly anything that looks at their dynamic under that angle will delight me beyond words, whether that's their early days, during canon, or post-canon with Joan's son in the picture
- Moriarty: thru tears: literally anything. i LOVE Moriarty so much. i have a specific fondness for the dynamic between her and Joan and Sherlock, but i'd also be down for anything that looks at Moriarty in isolation
- Kitty! Kitty is one of my faves, she's such a delight. I'd love to see something about her dynamic within the little family she, Joan and Sherlock have built. Alternatively, I'd be so interested to see her dynamic with Moriarty, maybe in an AU where she became her protégée instead of Sherlock"s? Or in general in canon, honestly — I'm sure Moriarty would take an interest in Sherlock's mentorship, and i have a feeling she'd quite like Kitty

Killjoys has so many good gen dynamics and I love all of them. Some totally optional ides/prompts:
- Dutch and Johnny <3 They're one of my favorite platonic pairings; the ride-or-die, complete trust they showcase is everything to me. i'm especially fond of anything that looks at their beginnings/early days but i'll love anything that focuses on them. Favorite themes include trust, dutch learning to be vulnerable, and dutch learning to trust johnny/stop feeling responsible for everything bad that happens to him
- Dutch in general is one of my favorite characters, so a character study / anything that looks at her past would be fascinating
- Kendry! My favorite immoral rich asshole <3 she's so skilled and ruthless politically, i'd love to see something that focuses on her being hyper-competent
- Johnny has so many interesting dynamics that i love; Lucy ofc (how do they go from their initial hostility to Johnny being her favorite?), but also Zeph (she's /so/ unimpressed with him it's my favorite thing), or, on a darker note, Kendry, especially after what happened to Pawter

My favorite nerd duo; I would love to see them nerding out over their respective interests with each other, or working together, for instance on a mission involving Ancient tech (Daniel's Ancient knowledge + Sam's tech knowledge = <3 my fave thing). Big bonus points for a fic where they get to explore atlantis together tbh. Also generally their friendship is everything to me in so many ways
- Sam & SG1 in general is also just <3 augh, i have no words, i'll be happy with anything really; i have a specific fondness for aftermath fics, and would love to see the gang hang out, maybe taking care of sam after a particularly difficult mission, in their typical slightly awkward but very well meaning way
- Sam & Vala: i'll say it, we were ROBBED of the many many many Vala & Sam interactions we could have had, but what we did have is a delight so i'd love to see more of it, whether that's with something light-hearted like Sam helping Vala acclimatize to life on Earth or something more serious like a mission gone wrong
- Sam & Rodney: listen. they're just so funny to me. like they do care about each other but they WILL also forever annoy the hell out of each other and it's just always hilarious. could be set on earth or atlantis tbh!
- Sam & Elizabeth: I so wish we could have seen this dynamic more; maybe something where Sam spends some time working on the science side of thing in the earlier days of the Atlantis expedition when Elizabeth is still in command?
