This post is split up into new questions and old questions. Please check both sections if you haven't been keeping up with nomination posts.

General note: Please remember to disambiguate your noms, especially if you're nominating for a fandom where tags might wander to other related parts of the fandom (such as the MCU or Star Wars). It makes our job a lot easier! Also please capitalize your nominations correctly, we'll wear our fingers out fixing that.

Crossover Fandom

• Creator's Choice of Canon Character (Team Fortress 2) & The What's My Line Panel (What's My Line?) — Since this tag is 99 characters we've approved as-is but please remember that you could get any member of the WML panel.
• Jane Marple (Marple series) & Hercule Poirot (Poirot series) — Is "Marple series" different from just "Marple" and "Marple - Christie"?
• Jane Marple (Marple) & Maud Silver (Miss Silver Mysteries - Patricia Wentworth) — Is "Marple series" different from just "Marple" and "Marple - Christie"?
• Jane Marple (Marple) & Nancy Drew (Nancy Drew - Carolyn Keene) — Is "Marple series" different from just "Marple" and "Marple - Christie"?
• Lara Croft (tomb raider) & any character (Uncharted) — See the "Tomb Raider" question below, but we'll approve this as-is (with improved capitalization) if we don't hear from you.
• Mary Poppins & the Thirteenth Doctor (Doctor Who) — Do you care which version of Mary Poppins you get? If yes, please disambiguate with "(Mary Poppins 1964)" or "(Mary Poppins - P.L. Travers)" or "(Mary Poppins Returns)". If you don't, we'll probably approve with "(Any Version)" just for clarity.

Tomb Raider & Related Fandoms

• This tag seems really vague to us! We googled and Tomb Raider has video games, a 2001/2003 movie series, and a 2018 movie. We're in favor of more specificity over less specificity when it comes to fandom tags, but confess that we don't actually know much about Tomb Raider. Nominator, why do you want the "& Related Fandoms" version of this fandom?

Marvel Cinematic Universe

• Soren & Talos's Daughter (Marvel), Talos & Talos's Daughter (Marvel) - We'd be inclined to accept these under the fandom Captain Marvel, since that's where all these characters are from, but if the nominator feels strongly about it being approved under the Marvel Cinematic Universe, let us know and we'll go ahead and do that.

Freeforms

• Enemies With Benefits — "With Benefits" means a sexual relationship. Sexual relationships are not gen. We will not accept this tag.
• Helping Divorcee Get Back into Dating — Sorry, nominator, but we're afraid that a focus solely on reinvigorating someone's dating life isn't quite gen enough for us. How would you feel about a tag like, "Helping Divorcee Get Life Back Together Post-Marriage" or something?
• This Will Make An Excellent Movie — Nominator, we're worried that this tag is a little too ambiguous. What kind of fanwork content are you hoping to get out in response to this tag?

Fandoms/Relationships

Spider-Man (Tom Holland Movies)

• Jessica Jones & Michelle Jones, Jessica Jones & Peter Parker — Jessica Jones hasn't appeared in the Spider-Man movies, so these noms should be moved to the fandom "Marvel Cinematic Universe"

The Avengers (Marvel Movies)

• Steve Rogers & Natasha Romanoff - We're not accepting "The Avengers" as a fandom. Please move this nom to either "Captain America (Movies)" or "Marvel Cinematic Universe."

Les Misérables - All Media Types

• We have let a few other versions of AMT tags into the tagset, but we find ourselves unsure about this one because we don't know much about the fandom. It's not a multimedia franchise, just something with a lot of adaptations, right? We think we'd prefer that you pick your favorite version of this canon instead, but we're open to hearing why you think the AMT tag is right for you.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) - All Media Types

• Domino Squad (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) — Please pick either "Solo: Domino Squad (Star Wars: The Clone Wars)" or "Group: Domino Squad (Star Wars: The Clone Wars)". If you don't, we'll add "Solo:" to it before approving either A) when leaving it in limbo starts getting in the way of approving other tags or B) at the end of nominations.

DC (Comics)

• What comics universe do you want your relationships/characters to be from? Please disambiguate so that we can accept your tags. We will not accept your tags if you do not disambiguate.

Marvel (Comics)

• We are not accepting this fandom. You still need to nominate under the comic universe you want your characters to come from, for example Marvel 616.

Freeforms

• Accidental Bonding (non-romantic) — Nominator, we're into this tag but we wonder if you want it to be more specific. Do you want emotional bonding, psychic bonding, soul bonding, magic bonding, chemical bonding…? Okay, probably not chemical bonding. If you're ambivalent about the kind of bonding, we'd prefer to accept it as "Accidental Emotional/Psychic/Soul/Magic Bonding (non romantic)" or something to make it extra clear that it's any type of bonding.
• Survival underage sex work — We're not sure what you mean, nominator!
• Take Your Fandom to Work Day — This is a canonical AO3 tag but we're not sure what it means in the context of an exchange request. Do you mean you want your creator to make a fanwork that includes the creator's IRL job?
• what do you mean "just" friends? — Nominator, could we clarify and rephrase? We're honestly not sure what you mean at all. But we're supportive!
• Childhood Sweethearts — Nominator, we want to adjust this tag somehow so it's more obviously platonic, because we feel a fic about two characters being current childhood sweethearts would probably not be gen as it'd focus on a romance, albeit a very young one.
• Universe Travel where social status is reversed — Nominator, could we clarify and rephrase? We think your tag is talking about dimension travel to a roleswap AU, but we're not sure.

The Talos & Soren & Talos's Daughter noms were me, sorry about that! I edited them to be Captain Marvel.

Also, for potential mistakes, under Rogue One: A Star Wars Story there's 'CT-7567 | Rex & Luke Skywalker', which I think was meant for a different Star Wars subset.

That tag (Rex & Luke) also appears under Star Wars Rebels, and I don't think Luke appears there either. Maybe just a wandering tag??
